Is your master bedroom reminiscent of a one-star motel on the side of the highway? Or is it a spa-like retreat where you can finally recharge after a long's day work? This modern, coastal master bedroom design will give you a relaxing, calming environment reminiscent of your favorite holiday stay.

01. Design

Inspired by nature, this modern coastal master bedroom design is meant to make you feel calm and relaxed. This environment will be created by using soft hues inspired by the forest, natural materials, and organic patterns. The color green as well as natural plants will be used in accessories and decor to boost your mood and improve your health and well-being. To give the design a modern flare, we will add bold pops of color and pattern throughout the bedroom.

02. Finishes

Colors and textures are key to this design as they will appeal to the senses of both sight and touch. The carpet underfoot should be soft and luxurious for tired feet. The pillows on the bed should evoke a sense of comfort and extravagance to give you a feeling of being pampered. The natural woven blinds, paint colors, and other finishes should make this design feel like a nature-retreat so that you feel calm and relaxed after a long day's work.

The furniture for this modern coastal bedroom design is a mixture of abstract and natural elements.
