Color Crush: Festive Orange
Confession: I am loving orange this month! It seems to be popping up in all my designs lately!
Many of us associate the color orange with warmth. We think of fall pumpkins, warm firesides, and roasted carrots. But orange can also be a happy color reminding us of nature, sunsets, and citrus. It's best to introduce it into your home as a backdrop to add coziness or in small decor items to add a creative edge to any space.

Color Match: Chinoiserie Blue
Blue seems to be my go-to color. I love it because it can be both bold and calming - and it seems to work well with just about any accent color!
Modern, clean, and unexpected - a bright blue used in a pattern or motif is the perfect pair for a domineering and bright orange. A navy blue wall can be the perfect backdrop to pops of orange in furniture, decor, or textiles. A chinoiserie style vase or plate can combine with orange fall decor to create a classic and elegant table setting.

For this month's Color Crush, I was inspired by the image of the glowing harvest moon against a deep midnight blue sky. You might not expect these colors (navy and orange) to be seen often together. But when you find a color palette in nature, you can be sure it will work in your home too! Below are some of my favorite products in these hues - perfect to add style, sophistication, and a fun pop of color to any space!
